Omair Bangash is Managing Director at Hooked Technologies, and Founder of DreamFactory, which is an online social organization that aims to inspire youth to "DREAM BIG" in the early stages of their professional and academic life. He is vitally inspired by Human Potential, how ordinary people preservere and achive and make it all seem simple. To him it's hardwork thats worth it since to him Destiny cannot be achieved without striving hard for one's goal. He is also of belief that obstacles and hinderances are signs of progress so he took his obstructions as souvenirs of his successes.
He shared the awkward moment of his life in these words with us, "Well, loads of such moments. From a drop out that cried his lungs out after being kicked by FC college for 2% attendance thinking its the end othe world to they day I told my father I quit my job and going to start my own company. What a horrific day it was but then over the years the same man who was infuriated at this and in total disappointment is one of the major stake holders at my company today Like I say - 'Keep at it!'"
He also had a few moments in his life when he was asking himself questions that would shake the entire existence of the life one would be living. But he was lucky enough to find the right people to guide him through and offer him the hand in need or refill back all that spilled passion and determination or atleast boost up the courage. so he always found a way or another to keep it going!
Very amusingly he shared a memorable Memory, "Like this one time I was coming back from a big-time meeting and I ran out of fuel and had no money on me as well and got rescued by my business partner who borrowed 100 rs from someone."
Omair believes that one needs to be in love with the situation one is in to be content and satisfied - be it your relations or your work. If one ain't happy what else is there to life. that truly justifies his passion and satisfation towards his works. Since Omair loves what he does so he is very satisfied of what he has in his share of life today.
Omair has high hopes from youth today but he gives ample credit to this generation in being more responsible and literally better. he said, "First of all I would admit they are far better than the youth of our time and we knew nothing and mayb because we grew up in the age where we just had msn for chatting and yahoo for searching and NO TED. But still i find most of these people delusioned by dilemmas. They would WAIT for their 'degree' to finish and then start something. They want a push. They are not go-getters and have taboos which in the age where we have 24 year old billionairs and world changers doesnt make sense.
And above all I would really like them to DREAM BIG and pursue them."
He sternly suggests a Changemaker to be a Dreamer. For him a Changemaker has to be an He must be an idealist. Secondly, he has to be an Optimist thus he should be able to find a way out of blocked passage. Thirdly, he must have faith in something or anything.
"Belief is a strong word", as he says. He must be positive He must have total faith - in something atleast! 'Belief' is a strong word :)
